Budget 2012-2013: Friendly or Playing With People by sahibzada Haider jan Voice of Youth Organaization

Federal Budget of Pakistan 2012-2013 Presented in National Assembly on 1st of June 2012. Fedral Minister of Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that the basic aim of budget for financial year 2012-13 is to maintain economic stability‚ to accelerate economic growth‚ to check inflation and bringing well-to-do people in tax net.
If we deeply look at the budget, and analyze it profoundly we reach to conclusion that total budget was of Rs873 billion, out of which Rs 70 Billion was allocated for BISP (Benazir Income Support program which is entirely wastage of money, it will be more appropriate and pertinent if this huge amount of 70Billion was allocated for making new industries, for creating new Jobs for young and competent people and to promote entrepreneurs.
Increase in General Sales Tax on CNG will directly increase the prices of CNG per KG which will directly affect the laymen. Although Government terms budget 2012-2013 as relief package for national’s budget but after analysis of the proposed budget I will say that there is no emancipation for a common man in this budget. Offering one lack Jobs to the people is just government way to manipulate people mind’s to gain benefit in upcoming elections. Railway’s operations are declining day by day and it has been nearly drowned due to the corruption in department and in the presence of all these facts Government allocated 22 Billion rupees to railway department and at the top of all there is no proper plan with Railway Minister infact with entire department that how to effectively utilize this amount for the betterment of Railway.
Along with that 208 billion rupees were subsidized on food items though food item prices going high day by day. 193 Billion rupees were allocated for energy crises which is very diminutive amount to solve this issue, it this the most solemn and gigantic problem faced by country at present times Government t is not taking this issue seriously, although its effecting businesses adversely, factories operations are going down, industries are facing high losses, and all these phenomenon are effecting growth of the economy. Government allocated Rs. 1459 Billion for provinces and Rs. 17 Billion for FATA area, but they completely neglected other areas like “Malakand” which is known as PATA , Government has not clearly mentioned that  either this area will be served from provinces budget or from FATA budget, critical intend to raise issue about  this area is that  we are having 3 power houses in this area, one is an old power house named Jabban Power House at Dargai which was damaged back in 2006, in previous few budgets funds were allocated for the recovery of this power house but no necessary measures were taken for repairing of this power house, but the main query  is that where were all allocated fund were used?  Government should do proper audit of last year budget before presenting next year budget.
Going to Islamabad the main hub of the government, Prime Minister after spending 4 and half years in Prime Minister House, living lavish and highly expensive life decided to get shifted to petite house just to get sympathies of people. Parliaments members who are elected by us , they slapped   each other inside the hall , terrible  and awful drama played by PML-N inside the Assembly hall as opposition make us to think who to elect and on what criteria. The Speaker of National Assembly is supposed to take strict actions against all those members who are involved in such scandalous and disgraceful acts.
The nationals of country from each and every corner of Pakistan just want serenity, a nonviolent and peaceful environment to operate their businesses and beside all Government should take energy crises issue as serious one to restart the industries and help economy of the country to bloom
